Dryburgh Abbey Hotel Wedding

I don't often do weddings in the borders but the drive down to the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel for Fiona and Jonathan's wedding was a treat.

I was especially pleased when I got there because I met this falconer with his lovely baby Barn Owl. It's only 15 weeks old.

The sun was out so the wedding was in the gardens of the hotel and the bride made a dramatic entrance to the bagpipes.

The ceremony was lovely.

And Fiona and Jonny make a unique couple - check out his black nail varnish! I loved Fiona's dramatic scarlet gown, which her mother had customised.

Fiona's mum also made these gorgeous bridesmaid dresses.

And the best man looked very dapper too.

Hello Juliet.

I just wanted to thank for for all you did for us both before and on teh actualy day of our wedding.
We caouldnot have imagined a better day, and many of the guests commented on how professional, and yet at the same time personal you were.

Thank you again,
you are a star

Thank you Fiona and Jonathan,

My mum always told me I was a star and she will be delighted to be proven right!

You were a pair of stars yourselves! I enjoyed your wedding so much because you created a very personal cermony, not only in what I said about you, but in everything you did: your own FABULOUS outfits, the slightly goth bridesmaid dresses, the location, and the whole aptmosphere of the day. it was obvious to everyone that you are great together!

I wish you both all the happiness that you deserve - everyone at the ceremony said what a great couple you make.

Lots of love, and thank you so much for making me part of your wedding.

Juliet xx
